1. About Mortal Healthcare
Mortal Healthcare is a non-clinical telehealth access program operated by Mortal Science LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Mortal Healthcare," "we," "us"). Mortal Healthcare provides access to independent, licensed healthcare providers and state-licensed or FDA-registered compounding pharmacies, and provides enrollment, billing, customer support, and administrative services.
Mortal Healthcare does not provide medical care, does not make clinical decisions, and does not dispense medications. Mortal Healthcare does not establish a provider-patient relationship. All medical evaluations, clinical decisions, and prescribing are performed by independent licensed healthcare providers. All medication preparation and dispensing is performed by licensed pharmacies.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By using this website or enrolling in a program, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, reside in a U.S. state or territory where services are available, and be physically located in that state or territory at the time of any telehealth encounter.
4. No medical advice
Content on this website is provided for general information. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read on this website. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
5. Accounts and communications
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit, including your health intake, and for keeping your account credentials secure. Clinical questions belong in the patient portal, where they reach your provider. Email to Mortal Healthcare is a business channel and is not a secure channel for medical information.
6. Payments
Services are self-pay only. Platform access fees are charged for non-clinical platform access and administrative services only. Mortal Healthcare does not bill insurance, does not submit claims, and makes no representation that any program is covered by a health plan. The full price of a program is presented before any payment is made.
7. Prescriptions and pharmacies
A prescription is issued only when an independent licensed provider determines that treatment is appropriate, and only on receipt of a valid prescription is medication dispensed by a licensed pharmacy. Completing an intake does not guarantee that a prescription will be issued. Compounded medications are subject to the disclosures on our Compounding page.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use the services on behalf of another person, submit false health information, resell or transfer medication, or use the website in a way that violates applicable law.
9. Intellectual property
The website, its content, and the Mortal Healthcare name and marks are the property of Mortal Science LLC and its licensors. You may not use them without written permission.
10. Disclaimers
The website and non-clinical services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Mortal Healthcare expressly disclaims responsibility for the provision of healthcare services, which are performed solely by independent licensed providers and pharmacies.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mortal Science LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or non-clinical services. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Venue for any dispute lies in Travis County, Texas.
13. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date above reflects the current version. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
